Comments: Hi Clay,
As a long time hard-core fan of your parents and then later of your dad's cowboy tunes I am delighted that you
have chosen to make music a significant part of your life. I have played guitar and several other stringed
instruments for about 40 years now and I still listen to a lot of your parents' cds. I am looking forward to
having a listen to yours as well.

I wish you much success and have a great new year.

Regards, Paul

Whats new? I sure I havent spoken to or seen you in person for at least 3 years. I'm glad you're still playing. I'm living in the country now and doing my thing with Guitar and collaborating with a Techno Artist (which is the last thing on Earth I thought I would ever end up doing.) Give Me an email if You're planning to perform on the East Coast or just say "hallo". By the way, I really enjoyed working with you in 1998.

Comments: Hello Clay from Melbourne, Australia.

I must confess that l don't know much about your type of music. Being born in the 50's kinduh grew up with the then folky scene, along with country roots. "Four Strong Winds", "Summer Wages" and my personal favourite "Some Kind Of Fool". Was lucky enough to see your parents play at Niagara-on-the-Lake back in the middle 70's. Love the standard of music that
Canada has produced. You guys have such a right to be so proud of Prairie Oyster, Gordon Lightfoot, Stompin' Tom and George Fox to mention just a few off the top of my head. Canada is fantastic! Have been there 2 times (the last time was in the middle 80's)and will be spending Christmas 2002 in Guelph.

Hopefully, there will be a Clay Tyson concert kicking off from about the middle of December to late January somewhere in Ont.

Nice to chat to you.

Please tell your father, that his music is fantastic and the albums he keeps churning out are just brilliant. Have a number of favourites, but "Summer Wages", "Some Kind Of Fool", "Blue Mountains Of Mexico", "Cowboy Pride" and "Alberta's Child" are THE greatest.

Nice to talk to you,Clay.

Regards, June Woodall.

Comments: Hey Clay,

Great to see your site up and running. I just finished listening to all your songclips. I'm sure my computer speakers don't
do them justice, but they sound great. And the site looks good too. I got the link from Jaymz's www.myTO.com column from a
while back.

Life in Nassau continues to amuse and bemuse. If you wanna check out my online travel diary go to www.biscottiland.com and
find the linking star that takes you to the "Bahamas Update" section. And check the rest of the site while yer at it.

take care dude!

Comments: Hi Clay,
Like your web site. See you soon. Say hi to Rhona.
Cam is well. That's it I guess. I dunno, we don't have to fill the whole page do we?

I'm at Cam's working on the J-Card for my demo cassette.
So, I'll have that ready soon, I hope.

I've been working on that song and I think I've got some good closing lines and ideas.
Also, painting my apt., and the fire-escape has been pretty comfortable in the sun

Comments: Your website is very nice. I met your Mother and Father when I worked at Disney Studios in Burbank, Ca. in the early 70's. They did the music for a TV show, and I worked for the Producer. My ex-husband rode cutting horses just as your Father does now. I haven't heard your music yet, but will look forward to doing so. I must admit that I do have all of Ian's tapes. All the best to you in your career!!

this is Ty from England, I am your first cousin once removed. In other words my grandfather Jack Tyson (Edward) and your grandfather George Tyson were brothers!
When I was very small your father sang Mr. Spoons which I remember well. My mother stayed with George and Maggie on Vancouver island, your father was away at the time.
Like the website, you seem to be doing well.
Hope to hear from you.

Comments: Hi Clay,
I recently read an article about you in Macleans magazine and I was pleased to see you are doing great. We met quite awhile ago at the Vodoo club in the mid 80's, you had a mowhawk at the time and I may have had Black or maybe blond spiked hair then who knows. But I used to go there allot with my friends Dianne, Lynette and Natalie to dance and have a good time. I can't remember the name of the person who introduced us but back then it was enough just to remember your own name at some of those clubs.
So you may not remember me but I figured I would write and you would get a laugh out of remembering the Vodoo club. I moved to Denver, Colorado with my then boyfriend now husband five years ago and we are having a blast living in the mountains and exploring the Southwest.
Although I miss the Toronto scene I would not give up the freedom and beauty of the West for anything. However my family and friends are still in Toronto and I will be up in the fall so I would love to check out your band when I'm there. Congratulations on your soon to be released first CD. Hope too see you soon.
